Amy received her Bachelors of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In the last ten years she worked as a substitute teacher in all grade levels of the Buffalo, Minnesota public schools. Inspired by her high school math teacher, Amy has a passion to help students not only understand concepts but also build their math confidence.
One of her favorite pastimes is spending time with her family. She loves reading the Bible, singing, and making jewelry. She also enjoys all sorts of outside activities with friends and family such as hiking, biking, kayaking and long walks with her dog.
Psalm 91:2 is one of Amy’s life verses. “I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.’” Her prayer is to help ICA students learn to trust God with everything – even the tiny details – because He knows what we need at all times.
