Chris Strand
Upper School Bible

Chris comes to ICA after a career in various industries as a safety and environmental engineer and manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in engineering-related disciplines from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and a Master of Arts degree in Bible and Theology from Tyndale Theological Seminary.

He believes strongly in giving kids an education built on a Biblical worldview and sees teaching at Impact as an opportunity to serve God, give back to others, and support and strengthen the growing Christian faith of young believers – all wrapped up in a great school environment.

Chris and his wife Barbara have four adult children, all of whom were homeschooled from kindergarten through high school. When not teaching at Impact, he enjoys reading non-fiction, home-improvement projects, and teaching and serving in leadership in his local church.

“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.  Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
