Jeffrey Erickson
Upper School Science & Physical Education

Jeffrey grew up in the mountains of southwestern Colorado where he fell in love with God’s creation. It was in these mountains that he found his passion for biology and outdoor recreation. He spent his college years studying at North Park University in Chicago, where he received a degree in Biology and met his wife, Chelsey. Together, they returned to Colorado, where he worked as a ski instructor and taught 5th Grade Science. Mr. Erickson recently took a break from education to pursue other career interests, but God has called him and his family to Minnesota and back into education – right here at ICA!

Jeffrey’s life verse is Psalm 139:13-14 “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” He loves how this verse describes how intimately God knows and loves us. We are each made with intention and as a part of God’s purpose.

Jeffrey and his wife have four sweet kids. When he’s not at work, you’ll probably find him doing just about anything outside with them!
